What are the operating hours?

The Atlanta Market is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for truck deliveries. Most of the vendors at the Atlanta Market are open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 7 days a week.

The gate house is staffed Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM, and Administration office hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM.

What is the phone number to the Market Grocery and where is it located?

The Market Grocery is in Building K and can be reached at (404) 361-8620/7980.

Do you have seeded watermelon? What vendors may have some?

Peak season for watermelon is from the middle to end of June through the middle of August. There are sparse quantities available before and after the peak season. Jerome Pettigrew may have limited quantities of seeded watermelon during the peak season; (404) 281-5947. 

Can I buy pecans that are already cracked?

Juan Martinez sells cracked pecans and can be reached at (678) 497-5714 (tenant Nancy Arellano).

When do Christmas trees come to the market?

Christmas trees are available from the 15th of November through the week before Christmas. They are on a first-come first-served basis and have a history of selling out.

Does anyone sell creamed corn?

Southeast Processing sells creamed corn and can be reached at (404) 361-2782.

When are peas available and what vendor carries them?

Peas are mostly carried between May and October with Larry Grier, who can be reached at (706) 326-5486. 

Where can I buy bulk apples, oranges, peaches, and other common fruit?

We encourage everyone to visit our Georgia Grown Sheds 17 & 18. If they do not have the fruit you need, refer to the list of tenant companies on the Atlanta Market

What is the phone number for sod, gravel, and other landscaping materials?

Super Sod is located at Shed 39 and can be reached at (404) 363-1932.

Who carries baskets?

Matthews Hamper House can be reached at (404) 366-7166.

Who has pumpkins?

Keith Hammonds carries pumpkins from September through late October and can be reached at (810) 845-4675 or (404) 362-0491. 

What restaurant is located on the market?

Don Burrito is the only restaurant in the market and is in the restaurant as well as Shed 38. The restaurant phone number is (470) 427-3153 and the shed phone number is (404) 361-6564. 

Is there a floral shop?

CosmoFlora can be reached at (404) 363-1698.

Where can I get a food sales establishment license?

Please call the Food Safety Division at (404) 656-3627 to schedule an inspection for licensing.

When do Vidalia onions come to the market?

The Commissioner of Agriculture will set the packing date each year, which usually occurs in Mid-April. Onion peak season is from mid-April to the end of June. Call Maria Vazquez at (404) 446-6128 (tenant is Jesus Vazquez). 

Where can I find peaches?

Peaches are available in the first week of May through the middle of August. Call Walter Harris at (678) 895-1309.

Do you have truck parking?

No, we do not have truck parking at any time during the day or night.

Where can I find dry goods, food service containers, or tobacco products?

The Market Grocery is in Building K and can be reached at (404) 361-8620.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are allowed but they must stay in the vehicle.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Market Grocery accepts EBT cards. Shed tenants may choose individually whether to accept EBT cards or cash only.
