ATLANTA, GA— Yesterday, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper, the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and Georgia Grown celebrated the start of Georgia Ag Week with an antique tractor display on Mitchell Street outside the State Capitol.
“There is a Georgia farmer behind every commodity, and we are thrilled to celebrate our state’s #1 industry and the farm families who fuel its success during Georgia Ag Week,” said Georgia Ag Commissioner Tyler J Harper. “Georgia Ag Week is an opportunity to recognize the essential role agriculture plays in our state’s economy and daily lives, while celebrating the hardworking men and women who keep it running. We are deeply grateful to those who work every single day to provide the food, fiber, and shelter we all rely on.”
