Atlanta, Ga - Today, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper issued the following statement on the introduction of S.B. 437 and H.B. 1127.
“I’m grateful for the introduction of S.B. 437 and H.B. 1127 by Senator Randy Robertson (SD-29) and Representative Clay Pirkle (HD-169),” said Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper. “The Georgia Department of Agriculture fully supports the passage of these commonsense, bipartisan public safety and consumer protection measures related to consumable hemp products in Georgia. These bills will prohibit the sale of consumable hemp products to individuals under 21, reduce product contamination, and require all products be tested and labelled to accurately reflect their contents.”
